The 14-year-old rookie joins fellow karting graduate Freddie Lloyd in what is so far a two-car team run by the race-winning outfit from Maldon, Essex.
Henry was introduced to motorsport from an early age by his father Duncan, a GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Champion, a race winner in the European Le Mans Series and British GT Championship and a podium-finisher at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The Wilmslow, Cheshire, driver began karting aged 11, spent three seasons competing in the UK’s top level of Junior Rotax competition and the made his car-racing debut with Fox Motorsport last November in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series at Silverstone.
A trio of top-six finishes in the Rookie class – including fourth in the finale – marked an impressive debut and he will hope for further improvements when the new season begins at Donington Park in April.
Henry, who is supported by Hensmill and Scuderia Verde 55, joins the series that gave McLaren Formula 1 ace Lando Norris his car-racing debut with a Fox Motorsport team that secured top-three positions in the Drivers’ points in 2021 and ’22 and was most recently a race-winner in the 2024 Winter Series.
The Ginetta Junior Championship comprises eight events, most of which support the
British GT Championship. It begins at Donington Park on April 5-6 and concludes at the same venue on October 4-5.
Henry Cameron said: “I’m really excited to step up to a full season of Ginetta Juniors with Fox Motorsport. Ever since I drove the car for the first time, it’s been the target to race in the main series. I’ve been doing as much as I can in the sim for more than a year to learn the tracks, but it’s no substitute for real life and the couple of days testing we’ve had this year have been eye-opening. It’s going to be a learning year but there’s no reason why it can’t be a good one. I’m especially looking forward to racing at my home track – Oulton Park – early in the year.”
Paul McNeilly, Team Principal, said: “We’re very pleased that, following an impressive car-racing debut in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series, Henry has chosen to stay with Fox Motorsport for the full 2025 season. He’s made strong progress in testing so far – especially when you consider he only drove the car for the first time a couple of days before the Winter Series. Right now, we’re working to make sure he’s as prepared as possible for the start of the season so we can be in the thick of the action when the lights go out at Donington.”
