Fox Motorsport duo close out GB4 season with points at Donington

Fox Motorsport duo Holly Miall and Caitlyn McDaniel enjoyed their most competitive weekend of the season as the GB4 Championship partnered by the BRDC came to an end with a packed four-race schedule at Donington Park last weekend.

"

The pair produced consistent and ever-improving performances throughout the weekend which unusually featured four races owing to the postponement of the final encounter from the previous event at Brands Hatch a month ago.

This was despite both having to deal with the difficulties produced by Storm Amy playing havoc with track conditions during Friday testing and leaving each short on dry-weather track experience.

Chelmsford racer Holly marked her 18th birthday on Sunday with a 15th-place finish in the final race – her best result in fully-dry conditions in 2025 – despite having to deal with the distraction of several laps behind the safety car.

She had been 19th in damp conditions on Saturday and then 17th in Sunday’s other two races to end the season as the third highest-placed female driver in the standings.

American team-mate Caitlyn, who had never even sat in a go-kart until May last year, showed similarly sterling progress across the year and also scored her best finishes in dry racing conditions this year.

The London-based teenager, who hails from Virginia, USA, scored three top-20 finishes herself with 18th in Races Three and Four the highlights.

Paul McNeilly, Team Principal, said: “It’s been a strong weekend for Holly and Caitlyn and easily the most consistent weekend of the season for both drivers. The storm conditions during Friday testing and the light rain on Saturday certainly provided a challenge, but both did very well. We started the season at Donington so there’s an easy comparison to make between our drivers and the winners at both events. It’s clear to see how much closer they are to the front-running pace now and they should give both a lot of confidence to go on moving forwards in 2026 and beyond.”
